Sync reviewers with Shopify by adding tags
Updated over a week ago

When a customer submits a review via Judge.me, we’ll sync that information to Shopify by adding tags to that customer’s profile in the Shopify dashboard. This helps you segment your customers easily for further communication.

To enable this feature, from Judge.me admin, go to General Settings > Advanced > Sync customers with Shopify.

This syndication applies to both reviews submitted via the public web form, and reviews submitted via email requests. Customers who submitted web reviews will have the tag “Wrote Judge.me web review”, and those who submitted reviews via email requests, will have the tag “Wrote Judge.me email review”.

To use this feature, you'll need to grant Judge.me extra permission from your Shopify store.

  • Permissions should be granted by default for new installations since the first half of January 2024, and hence the customer sync is enabled by default.

  • For older stores, you can grant extra access from the Judge.me settings, and the sync will happen for new reviews only.
