Do you know that Judge.me is available in 38 other languages besides English? Choose your desired languages to make your widgets more friendly to the local customers. There are three ways for you to do so:
Tip: Check this article to learn how to translate your email templates.
1. Use our default translations
Our app will automatically detect your store’s language and set the default language for the widgets.
From Judge.me admin, go to General Settings > Account > Language
When you change your language setting, all customer-facing text in Review Widget, Star Ratings, etc. will be automatically translated into your desired language with Judge.me's default translations.
Note
If you have a Shopify multi-language store, we can detect the locale of each translated store, and change the language of your widgets accordingly. For example, if you enable three other languages (French, Spanish, and Italian) apart from their default language (English); when you change the store language to French, the widget language will be changed to French as well.
2. Customize your widget text
Available on the Awesome plan
If you have customized any widget text; for example, customize the text for Widget Header; the system will prioritize your text over Judge.me's default translations. Text customization is available in our Awesome plan ($15/month).
3. Use translation apps
You can also translate your widgets using Weglot. We are integrated with Weglot so the translation is automatic, but you can still revise the translations and add your own version.
We do not have an official integration with Langify. You can use this app to translate your store's pages and it should work in most cases. However, you may occasionally encounter some issues that we may not be able to help you with. Here are some tips to help you get Judge.me and Langify working correctly.
