When it comes to review requests and reminders, Judge.me takes a distinct approach by sending separate review requests and optional reminders for each line item within a fulfilled order. In this article, we will provide a detailed explanation of how these review requests and reminders are dispatched, based on your predetermined request timing.

From your Jugde.me admin, go to Collect Reviews > Schedule and Reminders > Request Timing


For other platforms

To customize your request timing, go to Settings > Review Request > Timing and Format > Request Timing.


It's important to note that you can send review requests for a maximum of 1 to 7 line items within an order, regardless of whether the order contains more than 1 to 7 products. For instance, if your order includes 10 line items but you opt to send a maximum of 2 review requests, we will only send review requests for 2 line items within the order.

  • Using the Single Review Email Template: If you select this template, we will dispatch 2 review requests for 2 line items.

  • Using the Multi Review Email Template: In this case, we will send 1 review request for 2 line items.

  • Custom Email Templates: For those using custom email templates, you have the flexibility to combine the Single Review block and Multi Review block. Consequently, you can choose to either send multiple emails, one for each eligible line item in the order, or a single email, even if the order consists of multiple products.

You also have the ability to configure different initiation times for sending the first review requests and reminders for domestic and international orders. Furthermore, you can specify the time intervals between successive review requests and reminders.

If you're on our Awesome plan, you can send up to 3 automatic reminders and even select different email templates for each reminder within your email sequences. Reminder emails will only commence once all initial review requests have been dispatched for all line items in the order.

Throughout this process, we consistently evaluate the eligibility of line items before sending review requests. For instance:

  • If a customer has already submitted a review for a line item using the same email they used to place the order, we will not send a review request for that particular line item.

  • Automatic reminders will not be sent if customers have already submitted reviews after receiving the initial review request. If you set more than one reminder, the next reminder will only be sent if there is any engagement (opened or clicked) with the previous emails.

  • If specific products are excluded from the review request schedule, we will omit sending requests for those products.

  • In adherence to our spam prevention policy, we refrain from sending review requests to the same reviewer if they have received a request within the past 7 days for different orders.

Example 1: A Two-Line Item Domestic Order

Request Timing:

  • Sending review requests for a maximum of 2 line items.

  • The initial review request is dispatched 14 days after order fulfillment for domestic orders.

  • Subsequent review requests are sent out every 3 days for domestic orders.

  • Includes sending 2 automatic reminders.

Review Request Schedule:

Assuming the user selects the Single Review Email Template, review requests will be sent for each qualifying line item.

Example 2: A Two-Line Item Domestic Order and a Two-Line Item International Order Placed on the Same Day

Request Timing:

  • Sending review requests for a maximum of 2 line items.

  • The initial review request is sent 14 days after order fulfillment for domestic orders and 20 days after order fulfillment for international orders.

  • Subsequent review requests are dispatched every 3 days for domestic orders and every 5 days for international orders.

  • Includes sending 2 automatic reminders.

Review Request Schedule:

Assuming the user chooses the Single Review Email Template, review requests will be sent for each qualifying line item.
