How to change a preference of name display in my review?

When writing new reviews or editing existing reviews on Judge.me, you have control over how your name is displayed on store's pages and Judge.me Reviews Site.


1. Four ways to display your name in reviews

  1. Both first name and last name (e.g. John Smith).

  2. First name and the initial letter of your last name (e.g. John S).

  3. The initial letter of both your first name and last name (e.g. J.S).

  4. Do not display your real name (Anonymous).

Note, when you set your name preference for the specific review to be Anonymous or Initials only (e.g. J.S), this enables private mode for this reviews.

Here is an example of how your name is displayed in different ways:

Note, for Chinese names:

- If you choose option 1 (display both first name and last name), we'll display your full name.

- If you choose other options, we'll always display your name as 匿名 (Anonymous).

2. Choose how to display your name format when writing a new a review

You can find this option in a drop-down list next to your Name in the Write a review form.

Below you can find an example how this setting looks like in the Review Widget on store pages.

3. Change display name format by editing you review via Judge.me Reviewer profile

  • Step 2: Go to My reviews tab, find the review for which you want to change a preference of display name and click Edit.

  • Step 3: In Update Review form choose how your name should be displayed from the drop-down list and click Save.
