By default, we send the review requests on your behalf via [email protected].
You can change this email to your own business email, but you'd need to verify DKIM and Return-Path to prevent these emails from going to spam. Verifying DKIM and Return-Path will only take a couple of steps.
Step 1: Get the values from Judge.me
Go to Collect Reviews > Email settings and click Add custom email.
After adding your custom email address, click Send confirmation link
You'll then see the records for DKIM and Return-Path. You'll need to copy these records, so please keep the window open.
For other platforms
For other platforms
From your Judge.me admin, go to Settings > Review Request.
Click Add custom email.
After adding your custom email address, click on Send confirmation email.
Once you receive the confirmation email, you can add the records for DKIM and Return-Path to your DNS.
You'll need to copy these records, so please keep the window open.
If you don't receive the confirmation email, please reach out to us at [email protected].
Step 2: Identify your DNS provider
If you already know your DNS provider, great! You can move straight to Step 3.
If you're not sure which DNS provider you're using:
Enter your domain name (e.g. myshopify.com) and click Lookup
On the results page, scroll down to Registrar Information.
The registrar is usually your domain host.
If the name in the Registrar Information says TUCOWS, it means that your DNS provider is Shopify.
Step 3: Add the records to your DNS provider
Once you've identified your DNS provider, you can follow the steps below to add the DKIM and Return-Path values to it.
If your DNS provider asks for Time to live (TTL), simply leave it as default.
