Collect more reviews by adding Judge.me widget into Shopify Customer accounts.

Updated this week

By adding Judge.me widget to your Shopify Customer accounts, your customers can submit their reviews right from the Orders page, Order status page, and a dedicated View my reviews page created by Judge.me.

What is a Customer account?

Customer accounts let your buyers log in to view their orders, profile information, and saved addresses. These accounts enhance the shopping experience by automatically filling in stored details during checkout, ensuring a faster and smoother process.

Note:

To add Judge.me widget, you need to have the new version of Customer Accounts from Shopify. Learn more about Shopify Customer accounts.

How your buyers can submit reviews via Customer account

1. On the Order status page

  • By clicking on an order from the Orders page, customers can view its status.

  • Here, they can:

    • Write a new review if they haven’t already. They can also see if a reward is available if they write a review.

    • Manage existing reviews via the Manage button, similar to the Orders page.

2. On the Orders page

  • Customers can log in and view their past orders.

  • If the order is fulfilled, a Write a review button will appear.

  • If a review already exists for a product, a Manage button lets them:

    • View their existing review.

    • Update the review by clicking Write a new review (this overwrites the current review).

3. On the 'View my reviews' page

  • Customers can access this page via the "View My Reviews" link on the Orders or Order Status pages.

  • On this page, they can:

    • See products they’ve reviewed and edit their reviews.

    • See products they haven’t reviewed and submit new reviews.

    • Write a store review.

4. 'Write a review' pop-up

When customers click "Write a Review", a pop-up form appears, allowing them to:

  • Submit their review.

  • Attach photos or videos for a richer review experience.
