This guide offers an introduction to the review site and provides a starting point for your journey with it. The review site integrates your Shopify store's product descriptions with reviews sourced from your Product Reviews app.

With a range of customizable features, you can effectively showcase your outstanding reviews and direct potential customers to your Shopify store. Explore the benefits and future roadmap of our review site.

Upon activating the review site, you'll gain access to the following features:

  • Store Page: Showcase your store's details, prominently display both product and shop-level reviews, and encourage more reviews from your customers.

  • Product Pages: Present comprehensive product information, highlight product benefits through specific product reviews, and channel prospective buyers to your store.

Please Note: To be eligible for a listing on the review site, your store must have a minimum of 10 verified reviews and a transparency score of at least 80%.

What sets the review site apart?

  • You have the flexibility to exhibit both product and shop-level reviews on your store page, as well as product reviews on individual product pages. Customers can also submit additional reviews using the review form.

  • The reviews featured on our review site mirror the content and language of the reviews in your Product Reviews app. For instance, if your reviews are in French, they will appear in French on the review site. Meanwhile, all text and labeling provided by will remain in English.

  • Your product descriptions are directly sourced from your Shopify store. Each product page features a call-to-action (CTA) linked to the corresponding product page on your store, easy for buyers to complete their purchases.

  • Several settings on the review site replicate the widget settings on your store pages, including the "Write a Review" button, thumbs (upvote) buttons, social share buttons, review photos and videos, and Q&A. Additionally, you can display the Q&A Star Ratings if the Q&A feature is enabled.

  • You possess the ability to moderate your reviews and publish only those you choose, similar to the functionality in the Product Reviews app.

  • Various features are available to highlight your reviews and make them more conspicuous to potential customers, such as the card carousel, with more enhancements like pinned reviews and highlighted quotes on the horizon.

  • You can earn Medals that showcase the quality and quantity of your reviews. These medals serve as strong indicators of trustworthiness for your store, aiding customers in making informed purchase decisions. Learn more about the different types, levels, and conditions of Medals.

  • Our pricing model is designed to ensure you only pay for the value you receive. Currently, all aspects of the review site are free of charge. In the future, we anticipate offering two plans: one that displays your listing for free without CTAs and another that displays your listing with CTAs to your product pages, with charges based on referral clicks or sales generated when we direct traffic to your store. Rest assured, we will notify you when we implement charges, and the decision to continue using our review site will be entirely at your discretion. We will never impose charges without your consent.

  • If the review site doesn't align with your preferences, you can opt out of it via the settings.

Enabling the review site

To get started, enable the review site and unlock its features:

Step 1: Enable the review site

The initial step is to enable the review site to gain access to all its pages and features. Here's how:

  1. Login to your app (if you're not already logged in).

  2. In the "Enable Review Site" section, toggle the switch to publish your store and product pages on the review site.

  3. Click Save to confirm your selection.

Please note that you can't access the store page settings unless your store qualifies for a listing on the review site, meaning it must have at least 10 verified reviews and a transparency score of at least 80%. To enable the review site, go to your store page settings using this link: Store Page Settings.

Afterward, you can view your store page by clicking "View my store page" on the left panel or by clicking the square icon next to your store page link in the "Enable Review Site" section. For more detailed instructions, please follow the provided guidelines.

You can also access your product pages from your shop page through various methods, including using the search bar, product links within specific reviews, and the "View Product" button in the card carousel (explained in step 3).

Step 2: Update your store page (recommended)

To enhance your store's appeal and make a positive first impression on potential customers, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your shop page settings using this link: Shop Page Settings.

  2. Update your logo (90px * 90px), banner (1170px * 200px), and shop description (up to 400 characters). These elements will be prominently displayed at the top of your shop page.

  3. Update you contact details, billing and physical store addresses, "Return and Refund" and "Shipping" policies, links to social media.

Step 3: Create your card carousel

To showcase engaging reviews and product information, you can create a card carousel. Here's how:

  1. Access your Card Carousel settings through this link: Card Carousel Settings.

  2. In the cards, you can feature a compelling review quote, star rating, product details, and even a call-to-action (CTA) linked to the respective product.

  3. For more comprehensive instructions on creating your cards, please follow the provided guidelines.

Once you've created your cards, they will be displayed at the bottom of your store page. To manage these cards, including adding, editing, or removing them, return to your settings using this link: Card Carousel Settings.
