Requesting a review update
Updated over 3 weeks ago

With Judge.me, you can now do more than just respond to reviews to engage with your customers. You can also send an email to ask for a review update.

When to ask for a review update

There are two situations where a review update email can be handy:

  • After addressing a negative review and improving the customer's experience, you can encourage them to share their updated thoughts.

  • If you've recently enabled features like photo/video uploads or custom questions, you can prompt reviewers to add their photos, videos, or answers.

How to send a review update email

To request a review update, follow these simple steps:

  • In your Judge.me admin panel, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews Dashboard.

  • Select the review to which you want to reply.

  • Click the three-dot icon (โ‹ฎ) and choose Ask customer to update review

The review update email will include a link to a standalone form. Reviewers can use this form to update their review and rating, as well as add photos and videos.

After the reviewer clicks Save:

  • If they're logged in, they'll be taken to their profile page.

  • If they're not logged in, they'll be directed to judge.me/reviews.

For other platforms

  • In your Judge.me admin panel, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews Dashboard.

  • Select the review to which you want to reply.

  • Click the reply icon and choose Request Review Update Email.
