Importing Etsy reviews with Shuttle
Updated over a week ago

If you have an Etsy store and looking to import your Etsy reviews to Judge.me, Shuttle (formerly Etsify) can help you with that.

Step 1: Export Your Reviews from Shuttle

Prepare Shopify SKUs

Shuttle uses SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) to match reviews with products in Shopify. If Shuttle identifies a product in Shopify with a matching SKU to that of a review, the review is assigned to that specific product.

  • If you've previously transferred reviews from Etsy to Shopify, you can skip this step.

  • If not, it's important to store your Shopify SKUs before beginning the review transfer process. You'll find options to store your SKUs on the Overview page, Reviews page, and in the Account Page (Shops).

Store Your Reviews in Shuttle

  • The initial stage of transferring reviews involves storing them within Shuttle.

  • Once reviews are stored in Shuttle, you can review and assign them to different products.

Export Reviews

Once your reviews are stored and correctly assigned, it's time to export them as a CSV file.

In the export settings, you can:

  • Choose your preferred product reviews app.

  • Set a minimum rating for the reviews.

  • Add custom content for reviews lacking content.

  • Modify the names of reviewers.

Upon completing the review export, you can proceed to import the generated CSV file into the Judge.me app.

Note

  • If you intend to keep the products created by Shuttle, you can directly import the CSV file into Judge.me without making any adjustments.

  • If you'd prefer to maintain your own products rather than those created by Shuttle, ensure that the product IDs match your Shopify products by modifying the data in the product_id column accordingly.

Important

Etsy does not grant access to picture URLs, preventing the export of review images through the Shuttle app. However, you have two alternatives to include review images:

  • Manually add images via the Shuttle admin panel after storing them. Simply go to the Reviews page, locate the desired review, and click the 'Add Image' button.

  • Add images manually to the CSV file by including the picture_urls column. If you require assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team.

Step 2: Import your reviews to Judge.me

Once you've got your exported CSV file, you can now import that file to Judge.me.

  • From your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews > Add Reviews.

  • Scroll down to the Import form e-commerce platforms.

  • Choose Etsy > Import > Via Shuttle app.

  • Upload your file and click Import.
